How much should a chocolate Lab weigh?
Short answer
AKC standards put males around 65–80 lb and females 55–70 lb in working condition, with heights of 22½–24½ in for males and 21½–23½ in for females. Parents’ weights and a visible waist matter more than coat color for a healthy Lab.
