Do chocolate Labs shed?

Yes. Labs wear a dense double coat and shed year-round, with heavier seasonal coat blows in spring and fall. Coat color does not change how much they shed. Weekly brushing and a deshedding tool keep hair under control; Labs are not a hypoallergenic breed.
