Can Labs eat turkey?

By · Updated

Short answer

Yes, if it’s plain. A few bites of cooked turkey meat with no skin, bones or seasoning are fine for most Labs. Skip the skin, gravy and stuffing, which are fatty and often contain onion or garlic, and never give cooked turkey bones, which can splinter. Plain roasted breast is about 40 calories an ounce.
