How many times a day should I feed a Lab puppy?

By · Updated

Short answer

The AKC suggests four meals a day from about 6 to 12 weeks, three meals from 3 to 6 months, and two meals from 6 months onward. Large-breed puppies like Labs usually stay on a large-breed puppy food until around 12 months. Split the day’s calories evenly across meals.
